Rail Workers

I often take the train. I'm not much for driving, and prefer not to when I can avoid it. Trips to Toronto or Quebec City are most enjoyable if travelled by train.
Just as you head West from Union Station in Toronto, there's a monument to rail workers. IIRC, it's actually a monument to the many Chinese workers that were employed for minimal wages to build the cross Canada rail line. A huge feat, one that basically built our country. Here are some pictures that I took of the monument one day. It seems so sparse now. I wish I could convey more.
